This Phomemo M836 Thermal Printer comes with a roll of thermal paper & is suppose to also be able to use single sheet thermal paper. Install the Phomemo app on your phone & pair the printer with your phone -- if does not pair via the Phomemo app then try pairing via the bluetooth connection in your phone's settings app. This does work with both my iPhone and my android phone. This is the portable thermal printer that you want because it prints EITHER with rolled thermal paper OR with sheet thermal paper. Comes with charging cable & cable adapter as well carrying pouch bag. Thanks Amazon & Phomemo.P.S. NOTE: When using SINGLE-SHEET PAPER, which you have to order separately, first remove the paper roll from inside the printer, and then insert your first sheet into the back slot of the printer & I found it best to line up the end of the paper near the edge of the front output slot (like a pinch before near the edge) to get the correct top margin on the printout -- and be sure the paper side which says something like "This Side Should Face Up" is actually facing downward where the top lid that you fold down is on top of the paper's blank side. And when you put the paper roll back into the printer, you most likely have to tightly re-roll that paper roll to get it to properly fit back inside the printer.P.S.S. FYI: I ordered the official Phomemo folded single-sheet thermal paper here on amazon for this Phomemo printer because they say the printouts should last for ten years. Additionally I also ordered an official Phomemo carry case (the black case with the white & red stripes) also available here on amazon to more securely carry my new Phonemo printer instead of using the included carry pouch bag.P.S.S.S. When recharging this printer, definitely use the included charging cable & its USB-C adapter if needed. The charging cable is regular USB-A to USB-C -- definitely use that or the equivalent. Okay yes you do have a USB-C port connection on the printer, BUT I suggest to not use a USB-C to USB-C cable because that may not work. Instead, if you have a charger plug that only takes USB-C, then use the USB-C adapter with the USB-A to USB-C charging cable. Yeah doesn't quite make sense but that's the only way the printer will recharge if you have to go USB-C to USB-C when recharging this Phomemo printer.
