We ordered one of these (pink) because my wife wanted one after seeing the same model that her friend had purchased. It's a simple product with a single button to power it on and off. It wouldn't power on out of the box, so I plugged it into the charger. The indicator light rapidly flashed red. I left it plugged in for a few hours and came back to see if it would power on. It would not. I plugged it back in and tried powering it up and it beeped and connected to the app but nothing would print. I unplugged it, made sure it was powered off, and then plugged it in again. The light was again flashing rapidly. According to the manual that means it has a low battery, so I left it to charge overnight. The next day, 12 hours later it was still flashing rapidly. I unplugged it and tried to power it on, and it still wouldn't power up, so we returned it and ordered a replacement. That one arrived today and is doing the exact same thing. My wife is wondering if only the pink ones are bad - her friend's is black and has been working since she purchased it months ago.Your luck might be better.UPDATE:IT’S WORKING!After writing the above review i just left it plugged in overnight. Roughly 20 hours later I checked it and noticed that the rapidly flashing red charge indicator had changed to a steady blue color. I unplugged it from the included charger cable, then long pressed the power button and this time it turned on. It’s working fine and printing labels now.The documentation makes no mention of this possibility so odds are good that the first unit we returned was fine and we wasted a trip to whole foods. So I am updating the rating to 3-stars.I was skeptical it was actually charging at all because it was drawing less than 0.5W according to my usb analyzer. I hope this is not the normal charge rate because it will be very inconvenient to recharge this printer going forward.
