Make sure you get the appropriate post adapter for the side mount bolts on your battery. Clean the threaded posts. Apply a small amount of battery grease to side mount bolts and spin the adapters on. My fault, I think, for not understanding its purpose.I needed a Stud Post Adapter to use on my one of my Golf Car Batteries. The previous owner had used a nut with didn't make a good enough connection and created charging problems and power issues.This little Female Stud Post Adapter was just what I needed. I threaded it onto the screw post and then attached my battery clamp onto it. My charging time decreased by 30% and my acceleration and top speed increased by 1.5km all due to the better transfer of current thanks to the improved battery post connection.Highly Recommendthe item arrived on time in good packaging. I had one of this which lasted me a long time and I really like this type with a magnet at the back so you can just hang it safe (it has a flexible and long test wires) on a distance from some rotating parts of you car.The fault light indicator on the alternator will lights up whether alternator is overcharging or undercharging. The green/good lights up when alternator is charging within the acceptable range.Worked great on my heavy truck battery To use with normal terminalsI had to use a tap and die set to make threads in the caps to fit them over my battery studs. Not impressed!Works as you would expect. Screwed onto 3/8" studs and I was able to connect the battery I had without changing the connectors.
