Samlex 2200W 24V Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter Charger for RVs, Boats & Off-Grid Solar Systems - Reliable Backup Power Solution

I have had the inverter running for about a month now powering my of grid farmhouse with no problems. It has been able to power a 1300w cooktop with two laptops plugged in simultaneously (total wattage about 1800w) without skipping a beat. The cooling fans are a somewhat noisy but they only turn on for loads of about 500w and greater. One of the best things about this inverter/charger is the instruction manual. I would be prone to calling it a short textbook about how to design and implement a backup power battery bank and/or a solar power system to power your house. It is over 100 pages and comes complete with detailed information about batteries, how they work, and the calculations you will need to make to size your battery bank. It has full, detailed wiring diagrams for multiple use scenarios. What's more, it has several tables which clearly outline maximum output amperage, wire sizes, and circuit breaker sizes all based on NEC standards. It's really quite amazing and I applaud the team at Samlex that put it together. It gives me confidence that they have created a quality product because of their thoroughness in writing the product manual.
