**UPDATE Aug 16** It's 5 months later, the incomplete watch charging issue is still a problem AND the watch gets very hot while charging. As others mentioned, it is also misrepresented as a fast charger for the phone - it is not. What really bothers me, though, is that when I bought the charging unit, I went with an item that had THOUSANDS of reviews, both good and bad. Today, I see that my item has only 2 global reviews and is now separate from identical items that still have thousands. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DONT BUY. THE FAST-CHARGING IS A BALD-FACE LIE & THEY PEELED OFF NEGATIVE REVIEWS BY SPLINTERING OFF 1 OF THEIR PHONY VENDOR NAMES (IT'S ALL THE SAME PRODUCT). I'M REPORTING THIS DISHONEST MARKETING TO AMAZON.**Original review: I thought I'd replace my clock radio/alarm with this much smaller footprint. I need my phone to charge and display time. That part works great. Every morning my phone is charged 100% and I love the cable-free convenience. My Galaxy watch, however, doesn't get a full charge 5 nights out of 7 because the charger kicks off. I don't know if the contact/weight ratio is too spread out to keep the wireless charging system active (the watch lays flat on its back here, unlike the Samsung charging cradle which places the watch on its side, thereby keeping the weight concentrated on the shallow arc & the charging remains active). I've tried with the watch band open & hanging down as well as buckled closed (too small, actually lifts the watch up from base), but I've started several mornings now at 50 to 70% after charging all night. I like the design and if I could depend on the watch charging every time, I'd give it great reviews.
