I previously ordered a smart alarm system for doors and windows. The only thing I was missing was a motion sensor. When I came across this device, I had to give it a try. You can use batteries or a USB cable to supply power. The batteries drain very quickly in these units. I chose to keep my plugged in. This easily detects motion. The alarm is very loud. It should scare off a burglar and wake you up from sleep. You can control this with the remote or a smart device. I added this to my smart device app. I can get phone notifications when motion is detected. Here, you have a ton of different options. You can power the unit on / off. You can set routines and have this work with other smart devices. I can use this alarm with my other smart alarm so they both go off when a window is opened, the door is opened, or when this detects motion. I keep this alarm inside and my other alarm outside. One alarm for neighbors to hear and one to wake me up. My old alarm is outside connected to a portable solar battery setup. Connect it to a smart door bell or mail box sensor. You can have it light up or sound the alarm when someone opens the mailbox or rings the bell. This is great for hard of hearing people. You can set this up to it, turn on, and off at the same time every day. Set it and forget it. For example, have it come on at 11 pm and off at 6 am. This is a great addition to my wifi alarm system. The more smart devices you have, the more routines and options that will be available to you. This isn't just great for home use. This is nice for hotels, motels, BnBs, camping, etc. Feel much safer while you sleep in an unknown area.
