I purchased this ZeroWatt off Amazon because I love Ansmann products and own several Ansmann products. However, I was sorely disappointed with this Powerline 5. The first thing that I was upset with is that the 9V operation didnt have an on screen display like the other batteries do. I don't know if my charger was defective but it would take 2 days to charge 9V batteries, and even then I couldn't tell if they were fully charged because there was no indication when I plugged them in as with the other batteries. I would plug a fully charged 9V in the charger and it would simply display a red light which meant it was charging. The next day, the red light is still on.The charger is VERY slow and incompletely constructed as far as features go. As it was not worth the price and seemed defective also, I returened it to Amazon for a full refund and I am purchasing a second Ansmann 16. The old Ansmann 8 (not the Ansmann 8 Plus), and the Ansmann 16, are probably the best chargers ever made for charging batteries.Stick with those.Great service and fast delivery! Product works as advertised! Power line 5 worked real well the only time I have used it so far and I expect it will work that way every time. Product is very well made and I feel it was a great buy!!Great charger!Cell Pack Solutions themselves were helpful with inquires. They also sell the new ready to go/ stay charged re chargeable batteries.Product has a 3 pin plug for UK use (unlike in picture)It is a smart charger that charges INDIVIDUAL batteries, and is a fairly fast charger taking around 3 hours to charge an AA 2700mAH battery, 2.5 hrs to charge a AAA 1000mAH battery, 5.5Hrs to charge a 4500mAH C battery, 12hr for a D 10,000mAH battery, 20hours to charge a 9 volt pp3 250mAH battery, with a trickle charge function and switch off function after the charger has determined the batteries are charged.Expensive product but well built and designed to last imo.Does not have a discharge function unlike some other Ansmann chargers.well I bought this charge based on the review from TNS."Product has a 3 pin plug for UK use " this is not true for me. Must be a hit and miss thing. I will have to find a UK plug for it.It feels very cheap for the price. Lets hope it works when I can find a plug to fit it.Ordered on the 12th of Jan came on the 17th so not bad. This is a well built charger that works really well. It took me a few minutes to realise that to switch it on you have to hold the big green button down for 2 seconds, but once over this is charges each cell individually, and its capacity is illustrated. It may not be quite as "intelligent" as some of the other ansmann chargers but it is a lot cheaper and is value for money and the self turning off feature is excellent.
