The Worx WG324 20V Power Share 5” Cordless Pruning Saw is the perfect around-the-yard or on-the-go compact cordless chainsaw for pruning bushes, trimming limbs, delimbing fell trees, bucking fell trees, and more. A great tool for chopping up logs for the campfire, clearing a path while hunting, or for just maintaining your property. Full of safety features, like the retractable guard over the bar & chain, and the handle guard to defend against flying debris. This is a less intimidating chainsaw, with a compact, lightweight form-factor that makes it easier to operate and control. But it doesn’t skimp on the specs. The 5 in. bar length is long enough to delimb 4 in. diameter branches if the tree is still standing, or 10 in. diameter branches if it’s already on the ground. But at that size it excels at getting at harder to reach and awkwardly placed branches that a full-size traditional chainsaw wouldn’t be able to easily reach. The chain speed is 18.4 ft./s. (5.6 m./s.) with a ¼ in. chain pitch and 0.043 in./32 links chain gauge. It only weighs 3.86 lbs. with the battery attached and 3.04 lbs. bare. That light weight makes it easier to hold up high when pruning. The Worx WG324 20V Power Share 5” Cordless Pruning Saw is ideal for residential homeowners, home flippers, or outdoor enthusiasts. A truly handy little cordless chainsaw.

I like WORX products. I own several, and so was confident in buying the WORX WG324 20V Power Share 5” Cordless Pruning Saw rather than other similar models at much lower prices. I was lucky to catch a break and get mine at about $60 less than its current price, so that's a plus.I haven't used it yet, so can't attest to how easy and effective it is. Other reviewers almost uniformly state that it cuts through even thicker limbs like butter, and it is a WORX, so I believe them. However, I'm very disappointed (and a bit angry) that it's described here as being "self-lubricating." It is not. In fact, mine came with an empty plastic bottle with a tip that looks like it's supposed to be used to be filled with oil and dripped onto the chain, but the tip is completely closed. So, what am I supposed to do? Drill a hole in the tip and hope the bottle doesn't tip once I've filled it? What would it have cost WORX to include a small bottle of chain oil with a proper drip tip and cap? Videos I've located on YouTube reviewing this model universally show a filled bottle included. The "instruction manual" is a joke. Totally incomprehensible if you're not a seasoned user of chainsaws, which I am not. I simply have a few small nuisance trees that need to be trimmed before they grow into monsters that require hundreds of dollars to hire a pro to cut down. I thought this would be easy to do with this mini chainsaw, and save me a lot of money in the long run.Bottom line: I've ordered a bottle of chain oil, which I would have done in the first place along with ordering the WORX saw if I'd known that it would be needed. Shame on you, WORX, for a misleading description. I took off two stars for this and because of the poorly written manual. I really don't like having to give a less than glowing review of a WORX product, but in this case I feel it's warranted. Don't make untrue claims about your product!I purchased this pruning saw for the soild brand Worx provides. Easy to adjust the chain, comes with a tool to adjust chain that stores in the saw itself. What I was really looking forward to was as the description indicated “automatic oiling of chain”. This is not the case. You have to Manual oil the chain. From the description[AUTOMATIC CHAIN LUBRICATION] Cordless chainsaw features automatic chain lubrication for hassle-free, efficient cutting with increased bar & chain lifeThis was one of the reasons I chose this product over others. I was disappointed it was not a feature.Lightweight, easily cuts 2” thick branchesHave used this multiple times and I was impressed with this hand held chain saw. I highly recommend this productUsed this to trim hibiscus plant the stalks about 4-5 inches thick and worked great. Handy little saw.The day after I got it, I cut down a small tree that had fallen against my house in a big storm. This little saw made it easy work. I think I will get the Extension pole next. This tool makes pruning larger limbs a breeze!! It has a lot of power and is light weight. I have several Worx tools and have definitely become a huge Worx fan!!I just received my chainsaw and I am impressed with how easy it is to use! I trimmed a Russian Olive today that had many dead limbs. It worked great. I got this tiny EMPTY bottle in my box and I figured I’d was for me to buy chain oil and fill it. Then I started reading the Q&A’s and this little empty bottle was not supposed to be empty. So, strike one. Then I am reading the description again and it plainly says“[AUTOMATIC CHAIN LUBRICATION] Cordless chainsaw features automatic chain lubrication for hassle-free.” This chainsaw does not have an automatic chain lubrication. “YOU” are the automatic chain lubricator. So, strike two. If it wants for the false advertising and the fact my little bottle was empty, I probably would give this a 5 star. I have to admit, I really do like it though! If you can live with the false advertising and an empty plastic bottle, then I’d say buy it!Just got this, battery is charged and ready to do some up coming work. But shy with using it, only because I have two older ones where the chain snapped (not this mfg) and replacing the chain was too ac ward to fixing it. mostly keeping my fingers crossed.I don’t really like the hand guard and the fact you have to hold a button down before you squeeze the triggerBlade hasn't got enough teeth - tears/rips at smaller branches.Works great, but battery does not last long.Very safe to handle. It would be very difficult to hurt yourself with this little but powerful tool.Is working great
