This wireless CarPlay adapter worked the first time in my 2020 Toyota Tacoma. So, all of the benefits of CarPlay without the hassle of plugging your phone into your car. Of the wireless CarPlay devices I've evaluated, this one is different in a few ways:1) It has a single cable with an adapter connector for USB-C to USB-A. My vehicle uses the USB-A connection so I have to use the adapter. I would have preferred a separate cable that did USB-C to USB-A.2) It isn't setup to update the firmware of the wireless CarPlay device. If this is something you wouldn't want to mess with anyway, then this wouldn't be a problem. For me, I would like to have the option to upgrade the firmware.3) The device reset button is easily accessible on the side of the device. This isn't much of an issue. If it was accidentally pressed, then the worst case is you would have to go back through the pairing procedure. In most instances, this type of reset switch is not easily accessible to prevent accidentally pressing it. I like having the switch but would prefer it to be less accessible (like a small access hole to use a paperclip-end to depress the switch). Again, this isn't much of an issue and many may actually prefer the reset switch to be easily accessible.Even though the box that the device came in indicated "Online Update", I verified with the seller that that was just a packaging error and the device is not designed to be updated.I also verified with the seller that the switch on the side of the device is the reset switch for the device. I couldn't find any reference for this switch function in the listing or in the manual for the product.
