When I first unboxed it I was worried I had a defunct model. I think I just had a bad outlet on my strip.I keep my AirPods on this and it keeps the case fully charged, even through the cover I have on it.The magnet strength is very secure, I recommend pulling your phone from the side rather than from the top or bottom, because it Willy jostle the stand otherwise. That being said, the stand does have a nice bottom weight to it and does not move when putting my phone on there.The phone rotates easily in place and stays securely however you orient it. The up and down tilt of the “arm” is stiff, but I personally like that because it gives me the confidence that it won’t start slowly collapsing.I was not expecting it to charge as quickly as it does. My phone goes from 30% to 80% in mere minutes. It usually is a little warm afterward, but nothing as bad as any other mag charger.It does charge through the MagSafe case that I have, however, it can get finicky about. I usually wipe both the charger and my phone clean and that resolves it, but if it persists I just pop the case off and there aren’t any issues.Overall I think this is a great charger and I really appreciate the sturdy design.
