Worked great with a Lewmar 700 with solenoid/contactor. I attached this to the switch that controls the contactor. I did have to do some wiring and jumpers to make the connection, so note your will need other small parts and tools to complete the work. First thing to note is that some windlass use a high power switch to control it and this remote cannot handle that kind of load. Make sure your windlass uses a solenoid/contactor/relay to control it or install one. The remote works almost instantly. The only thing I am afraid off is one of the buttons getting pushed by mistake, but that can happen with any remote.
