This phone holder is excellent and really holds your phone well. It will not fall out and the mount does not slide in the ball mount. It is moderately difficult to install with the power wire.Be very careful mounting into the fairing if an Electra/Street Glide. The mount will scratch the lexan windshield. I do have it installed with windshield bags and while it's a tight fit, they work without needed a longer bolt in the center.Ciro's instructions completely suck. They're non-existent. You're much better off finding something on You Tube for your specific application. Installation is not overly difficult, but you do need to be somewhat mechanically inclined to install the charger version, especially on a Harley touring bike. The best installation method requires removing the fuel tank which is fairly straight forward, but novices might be hesitant (two electrical connectors. one fuel line, two vacuum lines, and four bolts on an Electra Glide). There's a nice loom under the tank to run the cable through which makes for a really nice and professional installation. Honestly the fairing is more challenging than the tank, but obviously scratching the paint on a Harley is the biggest fear.Once the adapter arrives (from 3rd party), I'm going to re-wire under the sink into the accessory switch on the Electra Glide rather than direct to the battery. This is a professional product.
