It was working really well at the beginning, and I also thought it charged my Pixel 3XL a bit faster than other wireless charging stands. I didn't use it often, and only as a spare, because I noticed that the back of the charger gets really really hot. Started charging the phone without the case, but was the same issue. Due to the heat the phone heats up too. I understand that if the phone is nearly dead or only has 10/20 % of charge left that it works much harder and heats up more, but the charger got really hot even if I put the phone on the stand with still 80% charge left. One morning when I got up and touched the stand I nearly got burned. When I looked at it the plastic on the back of the charger hat melted. This charger is a fire hazard. I do not recommend.Update to the review: Even though the charger melted, and I'm glad it didn't destroy my phone, I'm still very satisfied with the customer service. I guess a malfunction can always happen in any product. I contacted the seller and reached out to the Encased company to just let them know about the fire hazard. I didn't even ask for a refund, bit only wanted to make sure they are aware for potential recalls, etc. Encased has refunded the money and asked me to send it back so they can investigate. That's all I wanted, that's why I decided I have them 4 stars instead of one, just because of the customer service, not necessarily the product itself.
