This is a great headset for gaming, new or used. The overall quality of the product is good quality. Now the only caveat I have is after lifting the boom mic up and pulling it down, the connector inside the pivot point ends up breaking. The sound quality from the headset is awesome. Absolutely love the Dolby Atmos sound that they produce! But the Mic! I have gone through two of these headsets for the SAME exact problem. When voice chatting you will eventually start cutting out and then it will just stop working. But even though I love the sound quality and the wearability and comfort of these all day long without your head hurting or ears hurting makes me sad that Poly could never figure out the mic usage failure. The battery life on these is awesome. I ended up only needing to charge these once a week with heavy use.Dolby Atmos compatible - excels at directional audio. Also PC compatible. Would be 5 stars if it had Bluetooth.These headphones are just what I was looking for, they have features like 5 preset sound profiles a chat/game volume switch, 24 hour constant run time excellent sound quality they are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time however I gave it 4 stars because I bought mine Reconditioned and they stopped working whenI unplugged them from the charging cable which is odd because its just a charging cable has nothing to do with the functionality of the headphones and also the fact they are not wireless they are bluetooth to which wireless and bluetooth are not the same thing which also is a shame because you cannot use them on your phone or tablet, I will give them another try since I really like the form factor and all the features and will buy a New Setthe next timeI purchased this item from Kanga supply. The headset quality is very nice. there are few points i need to mention.1. it come with certified refurbished warranty card from windsor. not sure if other sellers than kanga supply has a certification for the refurbished headset.2. this headset RIG 800HD is specifically for PC. when you connect to pc, you will need to use the usb wirless signal caster connect to your pc then hold button for 3s on the singal caster to start pairing with headset, then push the power button on headset upward and hold for 10s to pair with signal caster. After successfully pair up, the light on the signal caster will turn purple. Red means your headset is not pair with the signal caster (this step is not clear in the plantronic set up manual.)3. it has a dobly atoms activation code inside the box. You can use dolby atmos, windows sonic and DTS:Xultra on pc. Dolby atmos and DTS both sounds really great.overall the headset is very light and comfortable. it has decent sound quality too.I bought my first one new for a couple hundred and my dog sat on it and broke it after a few months. I was very sad I had to go to my cheap turtle beaches while I saved up for another set but I love these headsets. I bought this one refurbished. They've worked since. They did come with one flaw, which was game/chat mixer wired incorrectly. It was essentially a volume slider as well. That flaw hasn't slowed me down though as I typically set my game volume through the games setting screen since all games are different. I highly recommend this headset though. I can wear it all day and not feel a thing. My friends say the microphone sounds great. The sound quality is amazing. Get it on sale or refurbished though for sure just in case your dog/kid/gf decides to be wreckless.Amazing headset, paired easily, sound is amazing. Only issue is that the left side where the mic and controls are block all outside sound and is more dense. The right side allows sound in which is good, but I felt deaf in my left ear. I got this brand because my old wired RIG enabled me to hear my child through game sounds without hindering gameplay and I wanted a wireless version. I prefer these over noise cancelling where I can't hear my child if he wakes.Best headset ever. Comfortable and a light fit, doesn't block out any outside sound but the sound is clear. Best headset I've ever had. Pins holding cups are a bit loose after 3 years, but, it's wear and tear. I'll be buying a new one soon.,if you bend over, these babies fall right off.ALso if you're not careful, teh upper dial up/down switch will dial itself up when you're handling them without paying attention and it turns off your game sounds.This headset is perfect in every way except one. It's light, durable, comfortable, stylish. The mic is not flimsy and flips up easily to mute. The sound quality is amazing. It's simple to setup and easy to use. It's better than anything on the market and yet IT IS COMPLETELY UNUSABLE.The microphone passes through to the speakers meaning when the microphone is down YOU WILL HAVE WHITE NOISE flooding into your ears. There is no way to mute this. Not in software, not in hardware. Not with a firmware update, not in any Windows settings (yes I disabled "Listen to this Device"). Yes I tried the EQ button. Yes I tried volume levels.THIS IS WORKING AS DESIGNED. And the design makes it completely unusable. You can't leave the mic down during a game without white noise and hearing every button click and sound in the room amplified into your head.DID NOBODY TRY TO USE THIS?!?! I have the Rig HD500 and I love it. It does not suffer from this insane "feature". I can't imagine what kind of insane industrial designer thought it was a good idea to amplify noise IN A GAMING HEADSET. I was told to simply flick the mic up to mute it when I'm not talking. Have you never played a game before?!?!? What the hell kind of madness is this? This is worse than crap. Crap I can deal with. But taking the best headset on the market and DELIBERATELY neutering it like this is infuriating.Like 'em a lot. Good quality for the price, feel and sound great.
