I have an iPhone 12 Mini with a failing battery, so it regularly needs topping up during the day. I have used cables for this most of the time, but recently got a MagSafe charger for my nightstand and the wireless charging has kind of spoiled me. So I was looking for another wireless charger, and came across this one. It comes with a USB-C cable, plus a USB-C to USB-A adapter, and a tiny, small-print user manual which I didn't actually read because there's nothing about using this that isn't obvious.I appreciated the adapter, as the charging brick (an old iPad one) and cable I've been using has the USB-A plug, so it was simple to swap this. I just put the charging puck on the desk, and my phone snapped right onto it. The magnetic connection is strong enough that I can hang the phone from to charger and it would take a significant effort to shake it off. I do have a MagSafe case on my phone, so if you have one of those, or don't use a case, you'll get good connection. If you have a case that's not MagSafe, you may not get as good a connection in terms of magnetic hold or ability to charge effectively.I don't have the equipment nor inclination to try to figure out if this really delivers the 15W fast charging or not, but can say that it charges at least as fast as when I just used a lightning cable to charge -- and it's just more convenient all around. I'm happy with this product.
