Totally dead, the lawn mower battery showed 0.00 volts. It would not take a charge using his "tried and true charger", said my friend. His job was replacing 12 volt batteries in oilfield equipment for a living. He laughed at the concept of bringing a battery back to life once totally discharged. Nothing to loose, so we increased the volts as per instructions for 8 minutes then trickle charged for 48 hours. Next we put the battery back into the lawnmower, and pow it cranked up! So it works like they claim! A star was lost because the instructions were difficult; although, the company responded to a couple of emails. You have to think through the instructions several times since it is challenging conventional wisdom as just mentioned above. I believe a few explanatory videos would be in order. The last thought is: I hope it is well built for the long run.
