Streamlight 22010 Rechargeable Button Top Li-Ion USB Battery & Charger - Perfect for Flashlights, Emergency Kits, and Outdoor Adventures

So far so good for the money imo, came with the two Micro USB compatable 18650 batteries. Haven't tried the USB option yet but doubt I will. This is my first 18650 battery and charger setup so I have nothing to compare it too. That said it does seem kinda slow but no biggie for me. It's already paid for itself in the short time I've had it, compared to buying the CR123's.I've have various Streamlight products through the years, and haven't had a bad one yet. One of them being a flashlight that fell out of my pocket and was accidentally ran over by my pickup. Doubt this charger will let me down any time soon.... go for it!AS THE OWNER OF A 20 ACRE, 100+ SITE CAMPGROUND IN TEXAS MY STAFF AND I USE MANY FLASHLIGHTS - I CURRENTLY OWN OVER 40 STREAMLIGHT PRODUCTS, FROM WEAPON LIGHTS TO HEADLIGHTS. I HAVE FOUND STREAMLIGHT TO BE THE BEST BUY FOR THE MONEY ON THE MARKET. THAT BEING SAID, OF ALL THE STREAMLIGHTS I OWN THAT TAKE CR123 BATTERIES - WHICH IS 13 - THE STREAMLIGHT 18650 BATTERIES WOULD NOT FIT IN ANY OF THEM - TOO LARGE IN DIAMETER. GRANTED, SOME ARE SEVERAL YEARS OLD AND i DID NOT EXPECT THEM TO ACCOMMODATE THE 18650. HOWEVER, 5 OF THEM WERE LESS THAN A YEAR OLD, AND THESE I DID EXPECT TO BE ABLE TO USE THE BATTERIES WITH. IF YOUR STREAMLIGHT PRODUCT DOES NOT SPECIFICALLY STATE IT WILL ACCEPT THE 18650 DO NOT EXPECT TO UTILIZE THESE BATTERIES WITH THEM. SEVERAL OF THE REVIEWS/QUESTIONS STATE THAT THE PROTAC HL WILL USE THEM - THE THREE i HAVE WERE PURCHASED AT ACADEMY IN JULY OF 2018AND THE BATTERIES WILL NOT FIT. I HAVE NOT HAD THE BATTERIES LONG ENOUGH TO RATE THEM IN ANY AREA OTHER THAN THE ABILITY TO USE THEM IN STREAMLIGHT PRODUCTS WHICH IS WHY I HAVE GIVEN THEM A ONE STAR RATING. YOU WOULD THINK THAT STREAMLIGHT WOULD PROVIDE A LIST OF WHICH OF THEIR PRODUCTS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH THESE BATTERIES BUT i HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO LOCATE ONE. AFTER ALL, IF A BATTERIES SAYS STREAMLIGHT IN GIANT LETTERS ON THE SIDE YOU WOULD EXPECT THEM TO FIT STREAMLIGHT PRODUCTS UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED, WOULD YOU NOT? ONCE I HAVE HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO USE THE PRODUCT (18650'S) SUFFICIENTLY TO COMMENT KNOWLEDGEABLY ON THEIR OTHER ATTRIBUTES i WILL COMMENT FURTHER.Would have been a five star rating had the included USB cable worked -- initially thought the unit was defective until I tried a spare cable, and this is apparently a common issue. I have two Streamlight flashlights and they're excellent performers so it was a disappointment to discover an apparent quality control problem with the charger package. Still, considering how much money I will save long-term over disposable batteries, I'd still recommend the product.These batteries and charger are great. I got my light a week ago and we lost power for 24 hours a couple days ago...my two batteries kept my Streamlight ProTac 2 LX going for the whole time. I ran my light on 500 lumens for about 4 hours and 40 lumens for about 12 hours and slept the rest of the time. These batteries worked great. I don't know how much juice was left but they we're going strong still when the lights came back on.Works great I'm a plumber and crawling through crawlspaces and attics I needed a good flashlight so I picked up a streamlight protack hlx but the batteries don't last long at all decided to give this a try and I couldn't be happier... I just swap a new one in every morning and I'm good to go for the work day without having to replace a pair of cr123's every other day at $3-10 a pair it has already paid for itself in the first two weeks.Amazing little batteries, my friend bought them and they have worked great for him. I bought them and they do not fit into my flashlight. I have a streamlight ten tap HL 750lume and these batteries are too fat to fit.Unfortunately had to send them in for a refund because of the size difference.I’ve been impressed with these batteries. My rating falls short of 5 stars due to one of the batteries already discoloring and seemingly leaking under the sheathing. The batteries charge multiple ways, in the charging dock or by micro usb directly into the battery. I use these in my HLX Pro Tac and they’ve performed well in the few months I’ve had them. I love the lights from Streamlight (I also own an HLDS Stinger) but those batteries (Ni-mh) did not last long either. One of my Stinger batteries dies after an hour of use. I do use my flashlights everyday as an auto mechanic.This seems to be a good product. However, the charging cable didn't work. I ended up having to supply my own because I don't want to go to the trouble of sending it back. It would be nice if Amazon had a way to just send me another cable for it.
