These earbuds outperformed my "IOS" buds by a long shot. Bass is stronger, trebles and mids are easy to hear, and design fits ears perfectly... with rubber inserts! I initially tried them without the inserts and it was tinny. Then I wised up and installed the rubber "gaskets" and they work great. Pairing was immediate with my iPhone.The downsides:1) Rubber gaskets are difficult to install and don't stay in well. They stick in my ear and pull off of the earbud. The design is interesting. They don't lock onto the outside of the bud, but rather insert into the earbud speaker hole and interlock with a little ridge or rim on the sleeve of the rubber piece. I recommend pinching the rubber piece and twist/push the rubber into the speaker hole to lock it in.2) They are difficult to pull out of the case. VERY difficult because they're so smooth. The fact that they're smooth is a bonus, but it does make using them hard if you have big hands like mine. A workaround it to simply twist the earbud one direction so it pops out a little bit so you can grab it better. If you don't you're likely to lose these into a street drain or something else.Overall, I like these and until I find something better I'll be replacing my IOS buds with these.
