I use it next to my laptop for charging Bluetooth headbands that I bought on Amazon, so it being short is perfect. The bright orange color makes it easy to find in a cosmetic case that I use to keep the Bluetooth headband in along with this.Measure the area and act out how you're going to use it for your purpose to make sure that it is the right size for you.I have to other USB cables that I did not buy on Amazon, and while they do the job of charging my electronic items, I do not expect that they will last as long as this thicker USB cable, so I recommend this if it's the right size for your purpose, and if you, like i, enjoy keeping things organized without taking up too much space.
