I use this printer at home to print out everything from receipts from orders, patterns for my wife who is big on making baby hats and small animals to making large items. I also use it to print out phots which it does really good. I have no gripes about the print quality of this printer. I only do this a couple times of month though. So if you use a printer every day at home, I want to let you know that it does goes through color ink pretty fast. What I do to overcome that is, instead of replacing the color cartridge every time it get low, I just use the black cartridge until the print gets to where you can't see it. This way, you can still print out in color too. Then you can replace both cartridges at the same time. Now for what I don't like about this printer. I don't like not having a way to fax anything. No touchpad with numbers on the printer to be able to do this. As strange as this may sound, there are still companies who has a fax number. The other thing I don't like about this printer is that it gets to the point where it won't take the paper in. You end up having to force feed the paper in a sheet at a time. The reason I know this, is that this is the second printer of this model I have had. I had the first one about 4 years before it did it. It would have cost me more to ship it and get it fix than buying a new one, so I bought the same model. I have had this one about 5 years now and it is starting to do the same thing. I want to repeat that I don't use it every day, so somebody who does, might run into that problem sooner. On the first one, I called tech up to see what the problem was and they told me that a chip inside went bad. So I guess the same thing has happen to the one I have now. I do want to let people know that I really like the model though. Good printer overall, prints out great materials and is not noisy except when you first use it and it is warming up. Doesn't take but a few minutes to do that. So yes, I would recommend buying it. But depending on how often you use a printer, is the ink consumption going to be a problem. Sorry this review is so long but I wanted to let people know what problems I had with this model and my feelings on using it.Good luck. Some people have been able to get the wireless connection to work
