This is excellent for surfing the web, using in spreadsheets, and playing simple games like Text Twist 2, Sudoku, Mahjong, or Bejeweled. (I don't play the other kind of games, so I don't know it's capability for those.) I do spend a lot of time in drawing programs (Photoshop/Illustrator) and even though this controlled the vector pen tool accurately, I missed my trackball Logitech mouse incredibly. For decades I have used a finger to move the pen tool all over the screen that it was uncomfortable for me to use my entire arm with this mouse - the scroll wheel doesn't do 360 degree movement like a trackball. My fault for not thinking about that before I purchased this mouse. I ended up getting the more expensive trackball to replace this within two days or so. This is still a great mouse for what it does. Great for someone else. :)Update: After my previous review the seller immediately reached out to me and offered a replacement which I received yesterday. I am adjusting my stars based on the fact of speedy customer service and attentiveness. I am in hopes that the first mouse I received was a rare defect and will continue using the new mouse. All sellers should be this customer-oriented.I purchased this mid Aug for about 15 bucks...it still should have lasted longer than this. I charged it up the first time completely per instructions, it worked well til a few days ago when the charge died, I guess...meaning I plugged it back in to charge up again, it charged completely, and now doesn't work at all. I've turned it on/off a few times, the red light will flicker on then turn off immediately. I've already thrown away the packaging so I can't return it, not to mention traveling to a drop box is not exactly easy as well. I'm sad because it was relatively comfortable to use, it was different and did alleviate pressure on the wrist. I tried using it for gaming and it wasn't quite as conducive as a normal mouse, but for everyday tasks it's good...when it works. I won't recommend this item because it failed in general quality. The mouse seemed to work really well until it stop charging one day. It's quiet, smooth, and looks great but all of that doesn't matter if it can't hold a charge. Maybe I received a defective one but at any rate, this should last longer than a few months which is why I gave it 2 stars.**UPDATED REVIEW 10/1/22 (from 2 to 5 star)To my surprise, I was contacted by the seller as they were aware that I was extremely disappointed with the mouse I received. They sent me a new one free of charge. They didn't have to do this and I appreciate that they stand behind their product and chose to make it right. I really love the mouse because it's super quiet and smooth.I will update this review if anything happens to the replacement.I definitely give them an A+ for customer service.*Update* : The seller sent over a free replacement for the one that had battery life issues, even after the replacement window had ended. Adding a star for great customer service.I bought 2, and about a month an a half later, one will not hold a charge. The other is performing wonderfully though. They both seem to want to "sleep" a little too soon for my taste, and I would like to have an option to tune that. Fells like they sleep after about a minute. One fast click, and it is up and working again though.I personally would not use this for gaming, but maybe that is just me. I use for normal office work. The feel of the mouse is great. I was surprised how soft sounding the "clicks" we, especially compared to my old mouse. Worth noting is that the sound is soft, but the "feel" of the clicks is about right. If you really like that clicking sound though, this may not be for you.I'm hoping my one with charging issues is a fluke, unfortunately it is outside of the return window.Edit after 1 wk: I noticed that I’m definitely much more comfortable with it. The first few days my pinky would just not relax. It would bend over like I was trying to drink tea. Once I got my palm and fingers to relax and rest against mouse and desk it’s caused less strain. Clicking is still a bit of clumsy mess though. Not sure if this is a one size fits all or if I need a smaller one.Setup was as quick as do re mi. Open box. Take usb receiver from bottom of mouse using fingernails or your coworkers. Slide into USB slot in your computer tower. Slide to “on” on your mouse and get to work. I didn’t charge my mouse before using. Had 9 hours of solid use so far. Probably need to charge it before I go home tomorrow. Like the Instruction pamphlet states, it will go to sleep. So left click and it starts working right away.It takes a bit of getting used to, but I do notice how quiet it is. I have less claw hand strain at the end of the day too.I adore the angle of this mouse and the color. It is a great design. The angle my arm sits at while using it is perfect and has really been helpful in reducing arm pain after a long day on the computer. The problem is that I have small hands, and care BARELY reach the toggle wheel which is between the two click buttons. For people with normal hands it would be great. If you have small hands this mouse might be a little too big for you to comfortably use. The mouse is one that is designed for ergonomics, not gaming so it will not perform well in that category.Mouse works fine; like advertised.Had a friend that gave me one of these a while ago and at first it felt weird lol After reverting back to the traditional mouse I then started realizing how comfortable it is using the old one I had. So I bought a new one and it’s the one that I’m using, USB charged which makes it even more awesome, no batteries to replace each time lol. It’s comfortable and seems well built, try it and you might never feel comfortable again using a traditional mouse due to its handling nature, I now see why they have this shape and it makes more sense because it’s more of a natural angle for your hand to be while using a mouse! It seems well built with good quality material as well.
