I have an android phone - a Moto Edge+5G - which does do Qi charging, but is not on its own set up for MagSafe charging. It *is*, however, compatible with MagSafe charging, with some modifications. I used a Volport MagSafe ring adhered the the back of my clear TPU case, and set up the charger to test it out, and WOW!I am so very happy! The charger connected to my phone immediately, and started charging right away. The charger cycles off once the battery reaches 100%, and then once it drops below 98% again, it cycles back on, keeping the battery topped off.With the Volport MagSafe ring, it snaps onto the charger immediately, and holds tight, even on bumpy roads. The charger itself mounts to either my AC/Heater vent with a very easy to use, or to a mount that adheres to the flat part of my dash with a self-adhesive tab. Both mounting bracket are secure and are easy to adjust positioning on. The best part is, I no longer have to fumble with my phone, getting it secured to the mount, and then plugging it in - all I have to do is set the phone near the charger base, and it snaps into place and starts charging immediately!It's fast, convenient, secure, and when the phone isn't mounted, it's stylish and fun as well. There is a rainbow cycling light on the edge of the magnetic charging disk, allowing me to see exactly where the disk is even in the dark. The base also has a little ledge to charge a Magsafe or Qi wireless charging enables smartwatch on!The contents of the box are the charger, two different mounting brackets - one that locks securely into a vent grill, and one that can adhere to a flat dash portion with the attached self-adhesive patch - the coiled USB-C cable to plug into the base of the charger, and two sets of instructions. I *highly recommend this charger to anyone looking for the convenience of magnetic charging for their phone and/or watch in their vehicle. It's so easy to use, and is quite reasonably priced. I could not be happier!
