The last reviewer did not know their video lights.First, it does take a very heavy and large lead acid battery to power a 100 watt halogen video light for an hour. Go to the Bescor, a maker of video light batteries, and you will see some of the heaviest configurations power a 100 watt light for just over an hour.Second, this video light comes with a special filter which will turn the light from tungsten to 5600 kelvin or about daylight and barn doors. Look up Lowell Ilight and you can see this is a bargain relative to that light. So this is a great package for a video light. It is a "hot light" meaning that it can cause third degree burns and fires if not handled properly. So be careful when handling, but it is a great package and the other reviewer clearly has not compared it to other battery packages like Bescor or Lowell which are quite a bit more expensive. The pouch which comes with this video light contains a Sunnyvale SW1270 lead acid 12 volt 7 amps and I believe it is F1 connector. Looking at Powersonics chart they have an 8 amp battery which might fit into the pouch. The pouch is big enough to fit two of these large/heavy batteries. Each lead acid cell weighs about 5 lbs.It does come with a cord which plugs into the wall so it can be used with DC or AC power. When using the light with AC power, the video light can take a 300 watt halogen bulb and with DC power only a 100 watt bulb. This is an important detail because your 100 watt configuration can suddenly become a 300 watt configuration very quickly.
