I chose this item for a few reasons:- the wireless charging pad- the extra USB port- the (additional) outdoor station- the projection- the alarm clockNow, the majority of these work and are good to great, but I have a few gripes:- the projection is limited in orientation. If you have this clock placed facing your head, would won't be able to have the projection be squared on the ceiling of the roof, it's a small annoyance, but I would've hope to be able to adjust it freely- all buttons are touch buttons. The button that activates the alarm is closest to the charging pad and I've accidentally activated and deactivated the alarm a few times now. The color display is very nice to look at and has 4 adjustable dimmer/brighter settings going from super bright to all the way off. The wireless charger quickly charged my 4000mah battery in my phone, it exceeded my expectations and worked as advertised.The biggest gripe that I have is that the buttons are not tactile, and are a pressure sensitive type that take a little bit of getting used to. I do not knock the rating down because of it, but I found that it was something worthy of mention. If I were buying this as my every day alarm clock, I would probably have a bigger issue with the snooze button, you have to look at it and can't just feel around blindly.The cradle that holds your phone is nice enough, has a rubber anti-slip strip across the bottom, so a slight bump of the table is nothing to worry about.The projector is a party trick, I don't see using it but it works as advertised displaying either the time or the temperature outside. The outside temperature thermometer is SOLD SEPARATELY. If you want this feature, buy the sensor. Kind of a let down because I have had clocks from this very same company and they came with the sensor in the box.Why should buy this? You like the display! Many on the market are not color displays and only come in white, green, yellow etc. The wireless charger is convenient and saves your cables, it also lets you charge in both vertical and horizontal mode to watch movies. It's the perfect size, in the picture you can see it sandwiched between my monitor and speaker, it is just big enough not to be small and just large enough to still be space friendly. The extra physical USB charging port on the side is an added bonus. The smartwatch charger (If you have one, I do not) looks great and is smartly integrated with cable management in mind, there is a magnetic detachable cable tie on the back. Smart. At this price, I feel it's a no brainer.Had one of these at the cabin and loved it. Decided to simplify my nightstand at home where I had a projection clock, QI charger, and an indoor/outdoor thermometer. This single item replaces all three of those - more space! Only complaint is that the touch-sensitive buttons ARE VERY sensitive - sometimes when I'm putting my phone into the charger, my hand touches one of the buttons and either the display changes, the thing enters setup mode, or the projector changes brightness. But I've learned to be very careful when my hand is around this thing. External thermometer and shield for this cost more together ($47) than the clock item itself ($40), which seems wrong, but oh well. Sort of like printers and ink.This clock has all the features. If you have never had a projection alarm clock, you will love that feature - so nice to look at ceiling and see what time it is. The charger holds phone securely and worked with my iphone and husbands android. Display is easy to read but does not brighten the room like some clocks. Buttons are a bit sensitive like other reviewers stated but I still love this clock. Buying more for the guest rooms.The ceiling display was the main reason I purchased this. Easy to read and has 3 brightness settings, Normal, Dim, and OFF. You can rotate and angle it to put it pretty much anywhere on the ceiling even if the clock faces the bed or towards the bottom of the bed. The only issue I have with this, is setting the alarm time and turning the alarm on and off. It uses touch buttons on the top of the clock. If it's dark, you will never be able to find the alarm button for the first few weeks without turning on a light. It's very small area for the touch button and there is no LED lit up indicating where the button is. The same goes for the other buttons to set the alarm time. After you use this for a couple weeks, you just know where to press in the dark.Wireless charging is great, although I do have to remove my cover to my Pixel 3 slim case to charge it. Not a big deal as my case easily comes off and back on.My kids liked mine so well, they each got one. Nice clock, easy to use after you have it a while but not at first.I am very picky about alarm clocks because I want certain features, and this was the only alarm clock that had everything I wanted:-time projector-wireless phone charger (iWatch charger is a bonus since I don't have one yet)-indoor/outdoor thermometer (requires external temp sensor TX141TH-BV3)I read other reviews of this alarm clock and was worried about the touch sensitive buttons and lack of auto-resetting alarm, and I will admit both of those have caused me frustration as well. My dislikes:-The touch sensitive buttons on the top of the unit are very sensitive and sometimes trigger if you just hold a finger close to them. Physical buttons that only work when pressed would be a BIG improvement.-The lack of a proper alarm reset button and only an alarm snooze button has caused me to forget to set the alarm each day and accidentally slept in (luckily my wife woke me up). I'd really like an alarm reset button to be as prominent as the snooze button and for the ability to set a Monday to Friday alarm.-For the price of this unit ($80), it should also have an atomic clock that automatically sets the time and adjust for day light savings.-The iWatch bracket does feel kind of flimsy and chintzy, but I don't have an iWatch to test it with.-Out of the box, the projector would not turn far enough to project in the orientation I needed it to to be able to read it while in bed. I contacted La Crosse and they told me to firmly push the adjustment wheel with two thumbs and eventually I would be able to push through the detent and orient it properly, which I was able to do.-The add on external temperature/humidity sensor was expensive ($43), considering I have had other less expensive alarm clocks that included an external temperature sensor.Overall, I like this alarm clock, but I will keep an eye out for upgrades in the future since this one is far from perfect and really aught to be for $123 (clock and sensor)Le projecteur est tres bien 2 niveau intensité. Les bouton son de type tactile donc facile de toucher a alarme pour la mettre active en deposant le cellulaire pour la charge sans le vouloir. Faut vraiment placer le telephone a la bonne place pour la charge et clignotte souvent pour indiquer probleme de charge( je mets un doute sur mon otter box qui recouvre mon cellulaire doit bloquer l'inductution) mais en meme temps je demontrerai pas mon otter box a chaque soir pour la charge donc une bonne faiblesse au niveau de la charge...Very nice alarm clock. 4 brightness settings and easy to set up. Only thing is that the mount where you attach your iWatch comes off quite easily and the buttons on the unit are touch sensitive so if you brush it with your finger it will changeInitial configuration took awhile to figure out but once setup all is well. The charging pad works well for overnight charging and the USB connection allowed me to reduce wiring and reorganize my night stand. The projection display is quite large and very useful.Bought clock, after a month it stopped charging my phone. Reached out to seller and had it replaced. Got the new one, charging base stopped working after 3 months, and the entire clock died about a year after that. Extremely disappointing for the price. Will never buy again.
