I saw someone post this on Reddit and it works like you think. I had better luck putting it in a room without a draft or anything to bump the table it’s on, otherwise the floating bulb gets kind of wobbly but it just sticks to the lamp if it does. One thing I didn’t realize and they don’t really advertise is the base is a wireless Qi phone charger. So not only does it look cool but I put it on my night stand and can actually use it to charge my phone overnight. Kind of made up for feelIn like it was a frivolous purchase to my wife anyway. This would make a great gift for a kid or teen.
