Can I use other USB-C cables to replace the supplies USB-C interspeaker cable for LSX II LT? We strongly recommend using the USB-C interspeaker cable supplied or separately sold C-Link interspeaker cable. Other USB-C cables may not provide the same level of compatibility and could potentially impact performance and safety of your speakers. Does the LSX II LT speaker need an amplifier? No. Both the primary and secondary speakers of LSX II LT are equipped with dedicated amplifiers for the tweeter and woofer. Do I have to plug LSX II LT in? Yes, LSX II LT must be connected to a power source. However, you will only need one power socket for the primary speaker, as the secondary speaker is powered through the primary speaker via an interspeaker connection. Are the supplied USB-C cable and the C-Link cable compatible with data transmission or device charging? Neither the supplied USB-C interspeaker cable nor the C-Link interspeaker cable are designed for data transmission or device charging. These are specifically intended for connecting the LSX II LT speakers and should not be used for other purposes. I bought the KEF LSX II LT and KEF Kube 10b. They are being used in a small home office.I am really impressed with most aspects of the speakers.Pros-Easy to setup.-Easy to add the sub, with recommended settings.-Overall sound is beautiful.-So cool looking, at least for me.-Price, I chose these over the KEF LSX II and LS50 just because of price.Cons-The app or remote seemed to be the only way to adjust the volume when controlling music from a streaming service. However you control the music from within the streaming service app.-I am putting this as a con but for me it was actually a pro. The highs seem to be lacking in a way that I enjoy. For example I am huge Pink Floyd fan and the clocks at the start of Time and the voice in the Great gig in the sky were not as harsh as normal. It didn't feel like anything was lacking but that might just be because I didn't miss what was missing.I am not an audiophile, the last set of speakers I had that sounded pretty good were some Cerwin Vega at15s 35 years ago. I do have Sony xm5 buds and over ear, beats and other decent headphones. I can say that the KEF speakers brought back a love of music that I haven't had in a long time. There is just something about being able to feel the music that I love.I think the sub was a must for me. When I turn it off even at low volumes the difference is noticeable to me. I have been listening with friends and family as well and they do not notice it as much.
