I was really skeptical of this product especially when I opened it up and saw everything in the box. Looked complicated and comes with very lengthy directions. The directions talk a lot about compatibility problems when trying to connect and how to fix it when that happens. I was prepared for a long battle. Not the case!I plugged the adapter into my HDMI and it connected and worked perfectly as soon as I turned it on. I have a newer 70" LG TV. It was flawless. The only thing I could see as a potential issue is that it works best if it's the only device plugged into your HDMI. If you have multiple items plugged in, there are instructions on how to connect. I did not need this so I cannot advise on how well that would work. Sound is great and the earpieces stay in pretty good. I am very happy with these.
