I was looking for a button- type sensor to add to a Guard Line driveway alarm receiver I had recently purchased. It seems Guard Line no longer sells a pushbotton accessory for their system, but in the old training videos I saw the pushbutton they formerly used looks almost identical to this product. They both use the same frequency, so I took a chance and bought it. Upon testing I was able to successfully pair this button with the Guard Line receiver and it works reliably. I'll do some additional testing for range, etc. and update this review if warranted. Note that there are two different versions of the Guard Line system; this button only works for the 914.8MHz version of the Guard Line system (mine was model GL2002). I did a little further testing for those who are technically inclined. This unit has a simple N.O. DPDT Momentary pushbutton switch for activation. The two Common poles are tied in parallel through a trace on the circuit board, as are the two Normally Open poles. These are circled in blue in the photo. Simply soldering in a N.O. magnetic switch or other contact can be used to extend the functionality of this device.
