This took about 15 minutes to setup and works perfectly. Now, when I start my F150, my Iphone connects via Carplay automatically. I don't have to pull my cellphone out of my pocket and hook a cable up. About two weeks ago, I was driving home from work in bad-weather. I know the road and saw no reason to bring up maps on my vehicle display. It was dark. With the glare from oncoming traffic and rain on my windshield, I couldn't tell where the heck I was on the road. I drove well past my turn and couldn't tell where the heck I was. Unless I pulled over to get my phone, I couldn't bring up maps. I drove 5 miles past my turn. That did it! I ordered this thing and now maps come up whenever I drive.To set this up, I found that I had to delete the bluetooth connection from my vehicle display. Then follow the directions in the enclosed directions. I'll get a second one for my other vehicle.
